Garage door repair, done at your door
Door off its track, cable snapped, rollers screaming, or a door that simply won't move — we find the fault at your door and fix what's actually broken.
What we repair
Most garage door trouble is mechanical, and most of it is fixable on the spot: doors that have jumped their tracks, frayed or snapped lift cables, worn rollers and hinges, bent track, and doors that open crooked, stop halfway, or won't close and seal. We reseat panels, replace frayed cables, realign tracks, and balance the door so it runs straight and shuts tight.
How we work
We start with the door itself — its tracks, cables, rollers, hinges and balance — and explain what we find at the door before any work starts. Repairs come first; if a part or the door itself is genuinely at the end of its life, we'll tell you that plainly and talk through the replacement options instead.
Do not force a stuck door
A door that's off its track or has lost a cable gets worse when it's forced — panels bend and tracks twist. If the door is stuck half-open or hanging crooked, leave it where it is and call. If it's stuck closed with your car inside, that's an emergency visit — see our emergency repair page.

Questions, answered straight
My door opens a few inches and stops. What's wrong?
That pattern usually points to a broken spring or a door that's binding in its tracks — the opener senses the load and gives up. Don't keep hitting the button; each try strains the opener. Call for a repair visit and we'll find it at the door.
The door is crooked and one side is higher. Can I push it back?
Please don't. A crooked door almost always means a cable has come off or frayed on one side, and pushing it can drop the door. Leave it exactly where it is and call us.
Do you repair every brand of door?
We work on the doors and hardware common to Western North Carolina homes — steel, insulated, wood and carriage-style doors, and their tracks, cables and hardware.
